Wade Fetzer III, of Glencoe, Ill., is retired partner with the investment banking firm Goldman Sachs. Fetzer had held an executive level position with Goldman Sachs for more than 20 years when he retired in 2005. He is a director of Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan, Sinofert Hong Kong Holdings Ltd., Northern Star Broadcasting, PCS Inc., Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center, and the Kellogg Alumni Advisory Board.

Among their many contributions to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Fetzer and his wife, Beverly, created the Fetzer Academic Center to benefit student athletes and provided the lead gift for the Below Center for the Wisconsin Alumni Association. Fetzer was instrumental in bringing the Posse Program, a diversity initiative to identify and fund high school student leaders who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend college, to the UW-Madison campus. He is also past chairman and current member of the University of Wisconsin Foundation Board of Directors, and served as co-chair of the Create the Future capital campaign.
