Paul Collins of London, England, is a retired vice chairman of Citigroup. He joined Citicorp in 1961 and worked in various executive positions including chief investment officer, with responsibility for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and chief financial officer. In 1985, Collins was appointed a director of Citicorp and its principal subsidiary, Citibank, and in 1988, he became vice-chairman. He is a director of BG Group, Actis Capital LLP, and The Enstar Group, and was previously a director of Nokia and Kimberly-Clark.

Collins serves on the University of Wisconsin Foundation Board of Directors and was the co-chair of the university’s Create the Future capital campaign. He is a former member of the Wisconsin School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board and has received the Wisconsin School of Business Distinguished Alumnus Award and Wisconsin Alumni Association’s Distinguished Alumnus Award. In 2001, Collins made a gift in honor of his mother, Adele Stoppenbach Collins, to endow 16 School of Music graduate fellowships in the College of Letters and Science, and has endowed two School of Music professorships.
