Peter currently serves as a board observer at Aveso,
Control4, and Wetpaint.
Previously Peter served as Senior Director of Marketing at
RealNetworks, a $200M Seattle-based company that pioneered the
delivery of digital audio and video over the Internet. During his
tenure, Peter developed the product marketing strategy and
go-to-market plans for four major RealSystem software platforms
resulting in greater than 50% year-over-year revenue growth and
industry leadership. Peter also developed the marketing strategy for
RealNetworks Mobile Multimedia Platform, coordinating the
involvement Nokia and Texas Instruments.
While at RealNetworks Peter served as the company?s Representative
on the Advisory Board of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) from
1998 to 1999.
Prior to RealNetworks, Peter was Vice President of Marketing
at Vivo Software, Inc a pioneer and leader of streaming video
technology, and managed all aspects of the company?s marketing
including strategic partnerships with Microsoft and RealNetworks
until its sale to RealNetworks in 1998. Before Vivo, Peter held key
executive and management roles in sales and marketing spanning more
than ten years at FTP Software, C-Cube Microsystems, and LSI Logic.
Peter holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS)
from the University of California, Berkeley, and a MBA from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
