Mr. Komives earned his Ph.D. at Michigan State University.  His areas of interest and expertise include new business formations, entrepreneurship, venture capital, exit strategies, business plan assistance, and mentoring entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Mr. Komives has been a member of the board of directors for thirteen for-profit companies and two non-profit boards.  He is the secretary of a local trade association and also serves as a counselor to ten companies in the Greater Milwaukee area on a regular basis.
