Lodging
We recommend the Fluno Center for lodging if you are attending School of Business programs. Other hotels located on or near the UW-Madison campus are listed below. For information on other Madison-area hotels, motels, and bed and breakfast inns, contact the Greater Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau, 1-800-373-6376. Please make your arrangements directly with the provider of your choice as far in advance as possible since lodging in Madison is limited during many weeks of the year.
Fluno Center
Most of our courses are held at the Fluno Center so we recommend that guests stay there. Reservations can be made at www.fluno.com or by calling (toll-free) 1-877-773-5866. The Fluno Center is prominently located in the heart of downtown Madison and within two blocks of the business school’s Grainger Hall. The center is easy to locate, at 601 University Avenue, between Lake and Frances Streets, and only 20 minutes from the Dane County Regional Airport.
This ideal location puts visitors only minutes away from the Wisconsin State Capitol, UW Memorial Union and State Street’s pedestrian mall featuring entertainment, a variety of bookstores, ethnic restaurants, coffeehouses, pubs and specialty shops. Also nearby are five museums, theater and performing arts, and UW Badger sporting events at the Kohl Center and Camp Randall Stadium.
Money magazine has twice named Madison as one of the best cities in which to live and calls it one of the "safest cities in America." Built on an isthmus, Madison has 220 parks, more than 150 miles of bike and cross-country ski trails, and five area lakes for boating and fishing.
