Career Development and Placement


Students have access to a wide variety of resources to support them during the job placement process.  The students have found the integration of the areas of support listed below to be an incredibly powerful in matching real estate positions with potential employers.  The 2006 MBA class had 100% job placement.

MBA Career Services
The mission of the MBA Career Services Office is to Wisconsin MBAs to enhance students' marketability by providing resources and individualized career advising for students.  Services include excellent online recruiting tools such as eRecruiting and the MBA CareerNet, as well as on-campus recruiting and job postings.

Real Estate Club
Hosts an annual career fair in February where many industry leaders recruit and interview students.  The Club also publishes a resume book each fall that is sent to hundreds of prospective employers.  Student resumes are also available online.

Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association
Maintains an employment database that lists employment opportunities available to undergrads, graduates and students and alumni.  The database is updated and distributed bimonthly and includes both full-time jobs and internships.
