Grainger Center’s Supply Chain MBA Wins Kudos

The supply chain management program of the UW-Madison School of Business has been ranked seventh in the nation. An article in the September issue of Supply Chain Management Review, “The State of Supply Chain Education,” surveyed practitioners and academics. The result: the Grainger Center for Supply Chain Management ranked seventh out of almost 100 programs, ahead of supply chain programs at MIT, Harvard and Stanford, among others.

In the survey, practitioners emphasized the importance of curriculum, reputation and source of potential management talent. Academics placed more value on research and on having well-known and productive faculty. The Grainger Center was established in 1991. Since then, it has graduated more than a hundred students, who have gone on to become business leaders across industries.
