WBA By the Numbers

Wisconsin Business Alumni are located coast to coast and beyond. Nearly 35,000 alumni live in 95 countries and all 50 states. Not surprisingly, the state with the most alumni is Wisconsin. The state with the fewest Badgers? Mississippi.

At last count, the U.S. city outside Wisconsin with the most Wisconsin Business Alumni is Chicago, with 2,892. (The Big Apple has a respectable number, though. There are 976 business alumni living or working in New York City).

The School of Business is well represented by alumni in Asia. Hong Kong, for example, has 269 alumni, and Toyko has 72. (See story on a recent trip to Japan by faculty and staff of the School of Business on page 29.)

Some major European cities have comparatively few business alumni. Only 30 School of Business alumni, for example get to spend spring (and the other three seasons) in Paris.
