A Day Like No Other
October 27, 2007 started out like any other Homecoming. Then things got interesting.
An undergraduate at the Wisconsin School of Business, Ashutosh Gupta, is among the 25 “most promising young entrepreneurs in the U.S.” according to BusinessWeek.
BusinessWeek asked readers to nominate candidates who met two criteria—they had to be 25 years old or younger and were running their own businesses. Gupta, 19, a finance and entrepreneurship major, was named for running his firm, Gupta Financial Consulting, which provides financial consulting to small businesses.
Gupta was profiled in the last issue of UPDATE for having his entrepreneurial interests sparked at the age of 14 by a “Youth Entrepreneur Camp” offered by UW-Madison’s Small Business Development Center.
