Corporate Cleanup
Are new corporate accountability measures making a difference or making a mess? Finance faculty and a Wall Street investigative journalist debate their impact.
The Wisconsin MBA graduating class of 2007 made a clear statement on the value they place on giving back to the School of Business. The full-time Wisconsin MBA Class of 2007 led a campaign that asked their fellow classmates to make a gift to the School of Business.
As of May, 99 percent of the graduating class had made a gift, raising more than $90,000. This is the third year this campaign has been held, led by Wisconsin MBA graduates. Each year, the participation rate has skyrocketed.
Every gift of $150 by a student will be matched with a gift of $300, generously provided by members of the Dean’s Advisory Board, making this campaign truly a collective effort. The money raised, along with other annual gifts, will be used to meet the most pressing needs of the School of Business.
