Two Associate Deans Named

Roger G. Maclean, an experienced higher education administrator on the UW-Madison campus, began directing public executive education programs for the School of Business in January and Associate Professor Ken Kavajecz, Finance, Investment and Banking, will serve as associate dean for the full-time Wisconsin MBA and specialized master’s programs of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business beginning in July.

New Directors Named for Weinert and Hawk Centers

Dan Olszewski was named director of the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship in April and G. Kevin Spellman is the new director of the Hawk Center for Applied Security Analysis.

New Textbook Explores Strategic Management

Mason Carpenter wrote “Strategic Management: A Dynamic Perspective” with Wm. Gerard Sanders of the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University
