A Note to Fellow Alumni

Dear Business Badgers,

Do you remember that first time you stepped inside the Commerce Building or Grainger Hall? Maybe you had a professor who influenced your career. Perhaps experience with a student organization became a stepping-stone for your first job. No matter what memorable events contributed to your experience at the UW-Madison School of Business, it’s likely that you benefited from gifts made by alumni and friends who came before you.

The School of Business is in the final phase of Create the Future: The Wisconsin Campaign, and needs your help. Giving recently passed the $100 million mark, but there’s still
$20 million to go to reach that goal by December 2006. Any gift or pledge, whether it is $25 or $25,000, will help us get there and contribute to a stronger School of Business.

Athletic PennantAnother important goal of the campaign is to increase the number of business alumni who participate in annual giving. Teamwork has always been key to Badger success and it is no different in this case. The reputation of our business program is influenced by the number of alumni who invest in the School of Business. Currently, our alumni-giving participation rate is just under 13 percent. Our goal: to increase that number to 20 percent over the next few years.

We hope you will join us and be part of the Create the Future: The Wisconsin Campaign. Your gift is an investment in your degree. It will help provide enhanced services for current alumni and ensure that future students have access to the same great experiences that you had at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business.

Giving is easy to do. You can make your contribution to the annual fund today in any of these ways:

As proud graduates, we are happy to invest in the School of Business. We hope you will join with us to “create the future” for the next generation.

On Wisconsin!
