School of Business > UPDATE > Fall 2002 > Article Permanent Scholarship Endowed to Honor Alum Lost in World Trade CenterGenerous donations by alumni, faculty, staff, family and friends have endowed a permanent scholarship in honor of Aaron Horwitz, BBA '98, an institutional bond broker for Cantor Fitzgerald who worked on the 104th floor of the World Trade Center. He is the only School of Business alumnus known to have perished in the September 11, 2001, attacks. (A profile of his life that appeared in the fall 2001 issue of UPDATE) The scholarship will be used to benefit undergraduate business students.
