1950-1979

David J. Sinkula, MBA '69, recently joined Fox Valley Metal-Tech, a stainless steel OEM parts manufacturer based in Green Bay, Wis., as the director of business development.

Jeffrey Herzberg, MBA '75, is a partner in the New York law firm of Zinker, Gelfand, and Herzberg, LLP, specializing in bankruptcy and reorganization.

Howard Bornstein, BBA '78, has been appointed chief financial officer of Foth and VanDyke and Associates, Inc., a Green Bay, Wis.-based engineering firm. He returns to Wisconsin after four years in Tennessee, where he reports the "best thing" was his "Badger" license plate.

Bob Legge, MBA '79, was appointed interim vice president of human resources at Adelphia Communications, which is undergoing Chapter 11 reorganization to lead a long-term human resource consolidation. His consulting firm, Legge and Company, in Rochester, N.Y., is in its fifth year of providing strategy execution and human resource services.

John Sikora, BBA '79, is a partner with Weiss Berzowski Brady in Milwaukee.

1980-1989

Wayne Breitbarth, BBA '84, has taken on shared ownership of M&M Office Interiors in Milwaukee.

David Rosen, BBA '84, was recently named the director of corporate business development at Ecolab in St. Paul, Minn., and is responsible for global new business development.

Kim Updike, BBA '87, has founded and currently serves as president of a Chicago-based game software startup, OddBet.com, Inc. The firm recently launched a website and its initial product.

1990-1994

Brian Conom, BBA '90, was named regional manager of the year by Regent Medical, where he is southern regional manager. The firm is based in Norcross, Ga.

Andrew Levin, MS '91, has founded the real estate investment and management company, Bass Real Estate Group, LLC, in Skokie, Ill. The firm's focus will be on continued acquisition of multi-family apartment buildings and retail shopping.

Laura Rauman, BBA '92, is a principal of Vista360, LLC, a consulting firm based in Milwaukee. Founded by business practitioners, the firm helps manage the business of investment management, focusing on SEC compliance, risk management, strategic financial management and investment trading.

Jeff Gunderson, BBA '92, recently moved to Menominee Falls, Wis. This past September, he took his seven-month-old son, Evan Thomas, to his first Badger football game. As Gunderson reported, "It's never too early to get them started!"

Rick Hoffman, MA '92, is public relations manager of the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science in Sioux Falls, S.D. The pavilion, which employs 145 people, includes a visual arts center, science center and performing arts center.

Vicki Verhasselt, BBA '92, started her own business, Voices of Success, which is in its third year of operation. She is a motivational speaker and business trainer specializing in communication training. The firm is based in Sheboygan, Wis.

Dale J. Schott, BBA '93, completed Case Western Reserve University's Executive MBA program in May 2002 and is currently working as a senior area manager for Wausau Mosinee Paper Corporation. He and his wife, Silvia, reside in Shaker Heights, Ohio.

Victoria Hutter, MA '94, in October was named acting director of communications for the National Endowment for the Arts, the federal agency dedicated to supporting the arts. She will oversee all communications strategy and implementation for the agency and work with the leadership team on major endowment initiatives.

1995-2002

Scott Winter, BBA '95, is an associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York City.

Michael J. Koch, BBA '96, who earned his MBA from the University of Michigan in 2002, has been promoted to the position of controller for Applied Graphics Technology in Los Angeles. He maintains his current position as director of financial planning and analysis.

Steve Mintz, MBA '96, has begun work for CUNA Mutual Group in Madison as a marketing strategist. He will be developing marketing programs for insurance products.

Jeremy B. Graff, BBA '97, a financial consultant with The Bromelkamp Group at RBC Dain Rauscher's Minneapolis office, has recently earned the Certified Financial Planner designation.

Jennifer Maguire, BBA '97, has become a senior underwriter for Chubb Insurance Companies, located in Lisle, Ill.

Michael A. Dubis, BBA '99, recently moved back to Madison and opened a financial planning and investment management firm, Touchtone Financial LLC. He was to marry Shelley Edwards, UW-Madison BS '99, this October.

Derek Meyer, BBA '99, has accepted a position in sales and operations for C.H. Robinson Worldwide in Eden Prairie, Minn.

Nathan Gierke, BBA '00, entered the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego in August.

Joshua Blumenfeld, BBA '01, started and serves as CEO of CoverClicks LLC, an Internet marketing firm based in New York City. He reports, "The company has grown from a one-man basement start-up, to a New York City office with three full-time employees."

Jayson Pope, BBA '01, was recently promoted to senior organizer for the Service Employee International Union in Los Angeles, Calif. He reports he is, "organizing low-income black and brown people to demand higher wages, health insurance, respect and dignity from their employers. It's a great job for a business graduate!"
