Leadership
The School of Business is noted for the extensive opportunities it offers to develop student leadership skills.
The Accenture Leadership Center (ALC) provides top-notch opportunities for undergraduate students to develop leadership skills outside the classroom. The center provides a unique laboratory atmosphere that allows students to practice leadership principles through hands-on learning activities and participating in semester-long projects.
One reason for the impact of the ALC is that real-world business leaders donate their time to give invaluable feedback to ALC students. The only such center in the nation, the Accenture Leadership Center offers opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and to make a difference in their school and community.
The School of Business has more than two dozen student organizations built on the interests of undergraduate business students. These organizations are based on business function, diversity, topical interests and social networking. Each offers a chance for students to be part of a larger community and strengthen their skills in leading and being part of a team.
