Concurrent Enrollment Policy, Fall 2008
Brian Zehren

"Effective Fall 2008, UW-Madison School of Business students are not allowed to enroll concurrently at other accredited post-secondary institutions during any term in which they are enrolled at UW-Madison (fall, spring). This includes enrollment in on-line, distance education, and physical attendance classes. Please be aware that if you are taking a course at another university that begins in the summer and continues through the fall and/or spring semester, it will fall into this category of concurrent enrollment, regardless of when the course will be completed.

Students are permitted to enroll in more than one university during summer sessions only.

If it is discovered that a student violated the above policy, this credit will be removed from the student's record. It is the responsibility of the student to verify with their academic advisor that they are not in violation of this policy."

Academic and Career Essentials (ACE) Sessions
Kyle Peterson

ACE sessions will cover academic requirements and career options typical of a particular major. Students can attend as many sessions that interest them and do not need to pre-register. ACE sessions are open to all students, but are geared toward newly admitted sophomores in the Wisconsin School of Business. Check "Today in Grainger Hall" for all ACE session locations.

Attached is the schedule for the Academic and Career Essentials sessions for Fall of 2009. Use this schedule to find the meeting times for the major that you are interested in. If you aren't sure which business major you would like to attend, come to A Major Decision on Thursday, September 10, from 5:30-7:00 to get a brief overview of all the major options.
