Kyle Peterson

UAS is piloting a new tool called WiscCal Scheduling Assistant. You can go into your MyUW, and on the Home tab find the box entitled "WiscCal - Make An Appointment". Your advisor's information should appear there. You can find an available time that works with your schedule and enter your information to set up an appointment. Please include a reason for the appointment and your @wisc.edu email address in the field entitled "Reason for appointment". You can also see the attachment below for a brief illustration of these instructions.

Act for the World: Educational Forum on the United Nations Millennium Development Goals

Thursday, October 22, 4:00PM to 7:00PM

Great Hall, Memorial Union

Many students would like to become more knowledgeable about the world's most urgent development challenges, such as extreme poverty and hunger, HIV/AIDS and malaria, universal education, gender equality, maternal and child health, environment, and technology - issues that form the core of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. If you're one of them and would also like to learn how you can become involved in the solutions on a local, national, or international volunteer or internship level, this free forum will be very helpful. Presentations will be given by UW faculty on the history of the goals and progress around the world. Interactive display tables on each goal will be staffed by affiliated student organizations, and campus and community organizations that facilitate volunteer and other opportunities will be available. Hypnotiq (Hip Hop Dance) and the West African Dance of Madison will perform. Sponsored by International Student Services, Global Studies, Wisconsin Union Directorate, and many others. Please contact mdgap@odos.wisc.edu with any questions. For a detailed event schedule see: http://www.iss.wisc.edu/mdgap/.

myBiz
Kyle Peterson

The Undergraduate Business Blog will be moving later this month as the Wisconsin School of Business Undergraduate Program transitions to a more dynamic communication tool called myBiz.

This new interactive webpage will be your one-stop place to find information for pre-business, business, and Certificate in Business students. Replacing all mass emails and newsletters each unit previously sent out, this webpage will consistently be updated with information and events from each of the six units in the undergraduate program. By utilizing a blog format, this page will allow you to email posts to yourself, subscribe to the blog, and easily sort through information. You will also be able to easily find events by using the calendar feature. This page was designed to be interactive, so please feel free to comment on posts!

In conjunction with myBiz, you will receive a weekly Monday e-newsletter called the myBiz Weekly Digest. This email will highlight some of the new posts and upcoming events for the week and will direct you to myBiz for more information. Stay tuned for more information about myBiz!
