Prospective Two-Year UW College Transfer Students
UW College students who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for admission to the School of Business at the same time they apply for admission to UW-Madison:
- Must have enrolled in a two-year UW College as a new freshman
- Will complete a minimum of 54 credits in the two-year UW College system before transferring to UW-Madison
- Will complete all required Pre-business Requirements before transferring to UW-Madison
Note: UW College transfer students who do not meet the above criteria must complete at least 12 credits in residency at UW-Madison before applying for admission to the School of Business. See Prospective Transfers for more information.
Steps for Applying to UW-Madison and the School of Business:
1. Complete UW-Madison admission application by February 1 (for fall/summer admission) or October 1 (for spring admission).
2. Complete the School of Business admission application by April 1 for the following fall semester and November 1 for the following spring semester.
3. Immediately following the completion of your final semester at the UW-College, mail a final/official UW-College transcript to:

To be considered for admission, final transcripts must be received before the School of Business Admission Committee meets. (This transcript is in addition to the final transcript sent directly to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.)
