A select group of talented students, we conduct weekly meetings with focus on discussion of current events, areas of investment banking and investment management, and interviewing techniques. Professionals in the financial community and highly regarded faculty members make presentations in speaker forums regularly each semester. Faculty and professional presentations in the valuation miniseries sketch the broad strokes of valuation. Participation in the Graduate School of Business' Applied Corporate Finance program is available for members who meet specific requirements. The website, newsletter, and professional network serve as the club's contact with the industry. The New York trip will put members in face to face contact with bankers further expanding the network and enabling members to actually touch and feel I-banking. The goal of the Investment Banking Club is to prepare members for a career in investment banking and related areas, and to market members' capabilities to the financial community.
