Student Leaders - Checklist

The following is a brief checklist of minimum requirements in running a student organization. Use the following checkboxes to mark your progress.

Provide the External Relations office, 5151 Grainger Hall, the following items by the end of each semester:

  • A copy of your group's financial summary .
  • A copy of your group's activity summary .
  • Revised content for your group's listing online - including one contact person, his/her phone number and email address, a paragraph explaining the organization's purpose, and any membership requirements.
  • A current list of officers.
  • Post a mission statement (and other useful information about your group) on the bulletin board in the Blue Chip Deli or graduate lounge as soon as possible.
  • Arrange a meeting with Rebecca Smith , student organization coordinator, 5151 Grainger Hall, if you have questions about administrative issues.
  • Consider requesting funding if your organization may need support.
