The following students are currently enrolled in the Strategic Human Resource Management Program.

 

Jiajia (Audrey) Chen

Audrey joins the Strategic Human Resource Management MBA Program with five years of experience in the executive search industry.  After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Sun Yat-sen University, China, she worked as a recruiter for Cost-Killer Management Consulting Company.  Until most recently, Audrey held the title of Recruitment Consultant for Link Management Consulting Company with a focus on the fast moving consumer goods industry, manufacturing industry and electrical & electronics industry.  Her client base included Wrigley, Motorola, Kimberly Clark, Pepsi, and Rubbermaid.

"I joined the Wisconsin MBA so that I could concentrate on advanced study in Strategic Human Resource Management and cross-cultural communication.  After graduation, I look forward to a career as an HR Specialist in an organization that enables me to combine my skills and interests in HR consulting and international exposure."

Reinaldo Medina

Reinaldo Medina is a first year MBA specializing in Strategic Human Resource Management.  He earned bachelor’s degrees in Management and Psychology as well as a Master of Arts degree in International Business from the University of Florida.  After graduation, he worked for UBS International as a Registered Client Service Associate in private wealth management.  Prior to joining the MBA, he worked as a teacher for Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions.  He looks to join an organization that will allow him to use his business experience and education as an HR specialist.

Chris Sutter is a first year student in the Strategic Human Resource Management Program.   He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics.  Prior to entering the Wisconsin MBA, Chris worked for TJMaxx as a store manager and gained valuable leadership experience in business operations and human resources.  After graduation in 2010, he looks to capitalize on his leadership experience as a Human Resources Professional.

Justina Bond

Justina Bond is a second year MBA student in the Strategic Human Resource Management specialization.  Justina earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a major in Political Science. After graduation, she completed an internship in Human Resources at Berbee Information Networks. Justina also worked as a Logistics Supervisor in the Active Duty U.S. Army, serving for one year in Iraq and two years in Germany. She looks forward to a career as a Human Resources leader wherein she can combine her experiences abroad, and with diverse groups of people.

Jed is a second year MBA student in the Strategic Human Resource Management program.  He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in Management and Human Resources and started his career with Menard Inc. as a Human Resources Coordinator.  The position provided the opportunity for Jed to work as an on-site Human Resources Generalist and gain experience in recruiting, hiring, training, HRIS systems, and benefits administration. 
He joined the Wisconsin MBA to integrate this foundation with advanced study in Strategic Human Resource Management and be out in front as a Human Resources Professional.

Traci Diciaula

Traci is a second year MBA student in the Strategic Human Resource Management program. She graduated from UW-Madison in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Strategic Communications, and began her career at Bader Rutter & Associates in the Milwaukee-area as a Public Relations professional. At Bader Rutter, she worked on the Manpower, Inc. account and was exposed to high-level thought-leadership in the employment services industry, while effectively executing public relations strategy and tactics. After graduation, Traci hopes to integrate her international and client-services experiences as a Human Resources Generalist.

"In addition to equipping students with a strong, broad business background, UW-Madison's Strategic Human Resource Management program promotes and encourages high-level thinking by stressing the strategic aspect of Human Resources. Being successful in HR requires much more than learning the basics of recruiting, compensation, and labor relations. The SHRM program not only recognizes this, but also demands its students understand how Human Resources decisions affect the bottom line."
