School of Business Library http://business.library.wisc.edu/
Databases - The Business School Library maintains a list of databases commonly used for research in business disciplines, including Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS). Contact Michael Enyart menyart@bus.wisc.edu to set up an account.
Summer support - Each fall the UW Graduate School’s Research Committee solicits proposals for research support for the following fiscal year. This competition is open to all tenure/tenure track faculty at the university. Priorities for funding are:
- support creative research and scholarship on campus
- open new research areas, including multidisciplinary projects
- assist junior faculty in strengthening their research programs
- provide insurance against applications for extramural funding, particularly those involving support for graduate students.

Domestic travel eligibility is once in two fiscal years and is restricted to meetings which can be documented to have a strong positive contribution to your research program. International travel eligibility is once in a three fiscal year period and is restricted to "invited major participation in a major international meeting". Domestic support will be up to $500 and international travel grants will be up to $1,500, depending on the destination. University Travel Expense Reports will be required for reimbursement.
