Bachelor's Degree


The undergraduate program in real estate provides concentrated coursework in all aspects of the real estate enterprise. The program is nationally renowned for its ability to develop real estate professionals with superb analytical skills.

To major in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics, a student must take foundation courses in the real estate process, real estate finance and law, valuation of real estate, urban and regional economics and residential property development in addition to a number of electives from a wide variety of offerings. Many of the graduates of the program go on to take public and private industry jobs in real estate development, appraisal, corporate real estate asset management, and real estate analysis.

Deadlines

UW-Madison students should apply to the School of Business at the beginning of the semester that they will complete at least 54 credits (junior standing) and all starred (*) pre-business courses. Students must also adhere to application deadlines. Application to the School of Business guarantees consideration but NOT admission.

School of Business admission requirements are based on the semester and year a student began college/university coursework (matriculation date). Note: This includes any college/university attended unless the coursework was completed while still in high school.
