Timothy Riddiough is the E.J. Plesko Chair, Director of the Center for Real Estate, and Professor of Real Estate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has published over 40 articles, and is best known for his work on real options, mortgage pricing and strategy, and land use regulation. Tim has currently or previously served on the boards of several organizations, including ArCap REIT, Inc., EquiBase Capital Partners, LaSalle Investment Management (a REIT mutual fund), OCWEN Asset Investment Corporation (a publicly traded REIT), the Massachusetts State College Building Authority, and the Real Estate Research Institute.

He is a managing editor of Real Estate Finance. Tim is the past recipient of the best dissertation and best paper awards in Real Estate Economics, and is a fellow at the Homer Hoyt Institute for Advanced Studies as well as the Real Estate Research Institute. He has served as a consultant for numerous organizations, including HUD, GMAC, Wells Fargo, CB Commercial, Equitable Life Assurance, and the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. He teaches courses in Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Capital Markets, and Microeconomics. Professor Riddiough earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1991 and was a tenured professor at M.I.T. prior to returning to Madison in 2001.
