Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA)
A unique aspect of the Real Estate program at UW-Madison is the extensive support provided by the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association, a close-knit organization made up of more than 1,600 alumni and affiliates. The mission of the WREAA is to benefit the UW Real Estate Program nationwide.
In April, 2007, after a period of successful fundraising, alumni participated in a special ceremony to rename the Center for Real Estate--administrative arm of the MBA program--after James A. Graaskamp. Read more here.
This invaluable network of real estate graduates organizes an annual directory of members, a newsletter, and an employment database to inform alumni and graduating students of employment opportunities. Active alumni chapters meet regularly in 16 cities nationwide, and has a growing presence overseas.
The WREAA sponsors a biennial conference as well as a Trends conference. The association also sponsors alumni receptions at other conferences. Chapters of the association also sponsor events of interest to the local membership. For more information on WREAA's upcoming events, please reference the WREAA Calendar, call Chris Dicks at 262/746-9030 or email her at cdicks@bizwi.rr.com.
