Alum is Finalist for Morningstar’s Manager of the Year
A graduate of the noted Applied Security Analysis Program of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business is one of five national finalists for Morningstar’s Manager of the Year award.
Jay Sekelsky is lead equity manager of the Madison Mosaic Funds of Madison Investment Advisors, a Madison-based firm that manages more than $10 billion in investments. Sekelsky earned his undergraduate degree in business from UW-Madison in 1981 and his MBA in 1987. Toward the end of each year, Morningstar analysts nominate the managers they feel are most deserving, and at year’s end choose the winner. The names of the finalists are posted on-line and readers can voice their opinions. Morningstar is a leading provider of independent investment research.
