Research Manager, M/A/R/C® Research (Greensboro, NC)

M/A/R/C® Research is a full-service, custom research firm. We offer our clients extensive experience in conducting strategic marketing research initiatives, such as brand equity, tracking, segmentation, optimization, forecasting, customer value analysis and customer satisfaction.

Job Functions

• Obtain estimates for design and analysis elements of active matters and proposals.
• Assist Client Management with proposal development, as appropriate. (May draft the proposal at more senior levels.)
• Designs and analyzes projects and programs to meet client's research and business needs.
• Design questionnaire.
• Develop analytical plans.
• Document key elements of the analytic process (e.g. types of tests run, rules used for calculating statistics and maps, sample groups included, etc.)
• Liaison with Marketing Services - schedule/manage/monitor all marketing science functions.
• Prepare final report/presentation.
• Participate in client presentations.
• Assist client service with client interface and relationship building.
• Consult with clients on strategic business issues.
• Support new client development activities.
• Cost control of design and analysis elements.

• Competent in identifying business/research issues and translating into research design and analysis.
• Strong conceptual and quantitative skills.
• Solid understanding of research methods and statistical techniques.

Accountabilities

• Client deliverables (questionnaire, toplines, reports, etc.) meet research objectives and (where appropriate) contain value-added insights into implications and business impact
• Accurate estimates for professional time.
• Error-free questionnaire and banner plan.
• Marketing science and reporting processes are delivered accurately, on-time, and on-budget.
• Topline, analysis and/or final report are error-free, answer project objectives, and are implications and issues oriented.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a research related field. Preferably a graduate degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years experience in a research setting.
• Must be able to work in Greensboro, NC.
