SENIOR MARKETING ANALYST, Franciscan Skemp Healthcare - Mayo Health System (La Crosse, WI)

The Location:
The position is located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. La Crosse is located in Western Wisconsin, on the Mississippi River. It is a beautiful area of the state and offers an outstanding quality of life. The region offers excellent educational, cultural, and recreational opportunities. It is a very safe and affordable area of Wisconsin.

The Position:
The Senior Marketing Analyst will provide market research information to FSH leadership, divisions/departments, and other workgroups throughout FSH. The position provides internal marketing and planning consultative services to committees and departments. The Senior Marketing Analyst is responsible for coordinating multiple small to large, complex projects including working with proponents to identify the scope and components of the analysis needed and assumes overall responsibility for these projects. The analyst represents the marketing department on FSH system-wide committees and teams, develops and presents formal presentations to these committees and teams. The position is also responsible for recommendations and project management for Market Research and Planning projects. The Senior Marketing Analyst works unassisted with all levels of management, and provides guidance and resources to other analysts. The position reports directly to the Administrator, Business Development and works within the department with other Marketing Analysts and Marketing Interns. The Senior Marketing Analyst will work throughout the FSH organization with various department leaders and managers at not only the Franciscan Skemp Healthcare sites, but other Mayo sites as well.

Prerequisites:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, or related field is required, with a preference for a Master's degree.

2. A minimum of 5-7 years professional experience working with quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

3. Experience working within the healthcare industry is highly preferred.

4. The ability to independently coordinate a varied workload of projects with multiple priorities.

5. The ability to consult, including designing/conducting studies, and developing/implementing solutions for issues with significant financial and operational impact to the organization.

6. Must be able to remain impartial to research results to avoid biasing communication of data. Responsible for educating customers/clients about the use and applicability of data. Ensures customer data requests are designed/developed to answer the organizational questions. Must have the ability to simplify complex data issues.

7. Expert knowledge of SPSS as well as knowledge of DataBay, Solucient, and GIS preferred, but not required.

8. Proven expertise in project management, including resource allocation and project timeline estimation.

9. Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to present, educate, defend data models and estimates, as well as make recommendations and provide written communications.

10. Able to consult, design/conduct studies, and develop/implement solutions (problems involve analytical and creative elements) for issues with significant financial and operational impact to the organization.
