Analytical Services Manager - Opportunities available in Paramus, NJ; Wilton, CT; and Madison, WI; Glenview, IL

The ideal Analytical Services Manager candidate will have strong, interpersonal, analytic, servicing & problem solving skills and excellent communication skills. The Analytical Services Manager must have both response modeling and forecasting skills as well as SAS programming skills; as well as from 2-4 years of experience in an advanced analytic team within a research, CPG or like company. This individual will identify business needs and apply appropriate analytical tools to solve that need, manage customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction with ACNielsen Analytic Consulting, and effectively manage internal ACNielsen processes by developing a rapport with key resources

The key objectives for the Analytical Services Manager are to identify, analyze and interpret results of market research investigations into business solutions for clients using store-level and panel data in areas of consumer response modeling and forecasting. This position will also be responsible for developing and improving analytic tools to meet specific client needs in the area of pricing, promotions and forecasting. The Analytical Services Manager will manage staff of 1-2 consultants.

Key responsibilities:

Demonstrate customer servicing, technical/analytical project management, and people management skills.

Showcase strong consultative, leadership and project management skills through hands-on business analysis and planning.

Deliver ACN products and services which exceed client expectations.

The creation of innovative products/services and solutions for packaged good industry.

This position requires:

Masters degree (statistics, economics or management science strongly preferred).

2+ years of progressive account management experience in an advanced analytic team within a research, CPG or like company.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytic, sales, servicing and problem solving skills.

Credibility, ability to accept responsibility, and strong management skills.

Must have actively used SAS programming language in past 3 years.
