Nishant Soni is studying an MBA in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking.  Prior to the program, Nishant spent one year in Miracle Corporate Solutions and six months in DCM technologies designing the software modules for third generation networks. Nishant then spent three years at one of the largest software service providers in India, Wipro Technologies. He was a Team Lead for a group of seventeen dynamic individuals working on network solutions for the largest telecom service provider in the UK, British Telecom. He was also an onsite coordinator for teams from Sweden, Hungry, Ireland and India when he was on a project in Sweden. While working in Wipro, he even wrote implementation proposals and business proposals for many projects with a success rate of 100%. These proposals helped the company in winning multiple million dollar overseas projects. While writing these business proposals, Nishant was exposed to the business dynamics, globalization and financial instruments, which grew his interest in the field of finance. Nishant then spent seven months working for Ericsson Inc U.S., where he led two software modules, each comprising of three members, in designing the high performance telecom switches. Through work, Nishant developed his interest in the finance function of a business and its relationship with capital markets.  Nishant graduated from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2003 with Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Telecommunications and enjoys playing cricket, tennis, soccer, rock climbing and rafting in his spare time.
