Matthew is currently studying for an MBA in the Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking.  He graduated from The University of Texas – Austin in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and started his career at Halliburton Energy Services.  As a field engineer for Halliburton he worked very closely with customers to analyze specific needs and tailor service programs to target client needs.  He also managed daily operations of his crew and equipment, while training new engineers entering the company.  Mr. Meyer hopes to incorporate both his analytical, leadership and team management skills in the future in the field of corporate finance or investment banking.
