Linsey Lauritzen graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate.  After graduation she joined M&I Marshall & Ilsley Bank as a real estate analyst within the Correspondent Banking Real Estate Division, where she was responsible for analyzing financial data and completing underwriting packages for prospective real estate deals and monitoring existing real estate portfolios.  Based upon this initial work, Linsey was specially assigned to the Special Assets Division at M&I Marshall & Ilsley Bank as an analyst, specializing in distressed real estate.  In this role, she was responsible for the valuation analysis of distressed real estate properties, monitoring the financial condition of real estate relationships, and underwriting workout strategies.  This experience led to an interest in the corporate restructuring and M&A aspect of banking, which brought her to the Wisconsin School of Business to complete her MBA in corporate finance and investment banking.   Linsey intends to utilize her background in distressed real estate and workout strategy analysis, combined with her education at the Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking, to enter the investment banking industry.
