Jason is working towards an MBA in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking.  He has acquired ten years of accounting and finance experience in public accounting, private sector not-for-profit, and private sector for-profit organizations with annual revenues ranging from $50 million to $3 billion.  The majority of Jason’s career has been spent in accounting roles where the focus was on the management of accounting staff and preparation of financial statements, but he has developed great interest in corporate finance through positions he has either held or been exposed to.  Jason’s accounting background will serve as a solid foundation for his transition to a forward-looking, strategic finance role upon completion of the MBA program.  Most recently, Jason comes to the Wisconsin School of Business from CUNA Mutual Group where he worked as a business analyst.  While there, he redesigned the company’s cost benefit analysis tool, which achieved greater accuracy and reliability, improved overall usability, and simplified maintenance in order to accommodate the dynamic business environment.  Jason is committed to collaborative leadership, lifelong professional development, and the application of proven and innovative approaches to corporate finance.  Jason graduated from Westmont College, in Santa Barbara, CA, in 1997 with a B.A. in Business and Economics.  He enjoys cycling, motorcycling, golfing, and snow skiing in his free time.
