Apurv is studying at Wisconsin for an MBA in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. Prior to the program, Apurv spent three years working for India’s largest engineering and construction firm, Larsen & Toubro. He worked for Refineries and Chemical Plants group as a Project Manager and Business Development Executive. He generated cost bids, estimates, and reports for winning multi- million dollar contracts with private and government clients. Apurv led cross functional teams for projects across Europe, Asia and Australia. He spearheaded challenging jobs in physically and mentally enduring conditions, leading some of the most profitable projects in the Refineries group. Apurv worked his way quickly through the organization and was twice selected in the company’s Leadership Program. He worked very closely with the Treasury, Commodities, Finance and Risk management groups as a Business Development Executive. Through work in this industry and being involved in an Acquisition bid in the United Kingdom, Apurv developed his interest in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. Apurv graduated in 2005 from Gujarat University in India, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, in First class with Distinction. He likes to engage in activities of community service and enjoys playing soccer in his spare time. |
