Tom Tefft

Thomas M. Tefft was named Vice President and Corporate Controller effective May 1, 2005. In October 1999, Tefft was named Vice President Finance, Cardiac Rhythm Management with responsibility for providing overall financial leadership for Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm Management business, which is the market leader in therapies and products that diagnose and treat abnormal heart function. Prior to this, Tefft was Vice President and Controller for Medtronic's Europe, Middle East and Africa Operations and was based for five years at Medtronic's European headquarters in Tolochenaz, Switzerland. He joined Medtronic as Assistant Corporate Controller in August 1992.

Before coming to Medtronic, Tom spent ten years at Price Waterhouse in Minneapolis.

Tefft received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting in 1982 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He resides in Dellwood, MN with his wife and three children.
