Donald M. (Don) Condon, Jr.

Don is Senior Vice President for Olefins and Corporate Development for Westlake Chemicals Corporation, headquartered in Houston, TX.  Prior to Westlake, Don was Managing Director and CEO of Titan Chemicals, based in Malaysia, which he joined in July, 2003.  Following its 2005 Initial Public Offering, Titan is Malaysia’s largest public industrial firm, and with the 2006 acquisition of Indonesia’s largest polyethylene producer, Titan is the largest integrated polyolefins manufacturer in Southeast Asia.  Don was named the 2005 American Express/New Straits Times Malaysia CEO of the Year, the first non-Malaysian so recognized. 

Prior to joining Titan, Don served as President of Conoco Energy Ventures, and was responsible for development of international oil, gas, power, and integrated energy business projects.  Earlier, Condon also served as Chief Financial Officer for Conoco Exploration and Production, and led Conoco Global Power Inc. and DuPont Power activities.  

Condon joined Conoco in 1993 after nearly 20 years with DuPont, Conoco's parent company at the time. In DuPont, he held a number of manufacturing, marketing, and general management positions in the Finishes, Fabrics, Electronics, Remington Arms, Membranes, and Polymers businesses.  He also served in DuPont’s Corporate Plans group and led several significant acquisitions and divestitures.

A native of Brodhead, Wisconsin, Condon holds a B.B.A. degree in finance, economics, and personnel management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He completed graduate studies in international business and marketing at the University of Delaware and the University of Bridgeport, and the executive management course at The Southern Methodist University.

Don and his wife Linda have three grown children, Kelly, Nikki, and T. J.  They enjoy golf, hiking, music, and college sports.  Don has served on the Malaysia Business Roundtable and as a board member for the U.S. – Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, the World Economic Development Congress, the Montreux Energy Round Table, and the Dean’s Advisory Board for the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business.
