During my summer internship I worked as a consultant for Oakwood Village. I was asked to review and provide a complete recommendation on Oakwood’s application processes and procedures; the goal of the project was to reduce Oakwood’s financial aid risk, since residents of the community are guaranteed living accommodations in the community upon exhaustion of their assets.

In the process, I analyzed 10 publicly traded companies' operating performance over the last 4 years in order to find a  benchmark, develop a survey questionnaire to be sent to a group of CCRCs to identify best practices in the industry and work closely with Oakwood’s CFO and controller to identify and solve needs encountered through the project.
