Wisconsin Risk Management Students in National Spotlight
Undergraduates in risk management and insurance at the Wisconsin School of Business are in the limelight. The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers awarded eight scholarships nationally last year for top students pursuing careers in risk management and insurance. Two of the eight $5,000 scholarships were awarded to Wisconsin students— Jessica Hussong and Anthony Giombi. The other universities represented were Howard University, the University of Georgia at Athens and California State University at Sacramento.
The Foundation for Agency Management Excellence (FAME) scholarships are aimed at identifying and training the next generation of leaders in the field of risk management and insurance. The winning students are being featured in national advertising for the FAME program.
