Accounting Students Win Honorable Mention In Tax Competition

A team of accounting students from UW-Madison placed in the top 10 in the national Deloitte tax competition this year, earning honorable mention and a $1,000 award for the Department of Accounting and Information Systems. The regional competition was held in October on the UW-Madison campus. The students were Dan Court, Kelly Halbach, Corey Jones, Mike Laux and Kyle Ryan. The team advisor was Professor Jon Davis.
