Wisconsin Ties Harvard for Educating Most CEOs
A feature in the September issue of Bloomberg Markets magazine cites Harvard and the University of Wisconsin as having graduated the largest number of chief executive officers of companies in the Standard & Poors 500 Index.
Both universities can claim 15 CEOs as having received their undergraduate education there. The article cites comparisons and theories on the two programs success in this arena. The UW-Madison School of Business was eighth in terms of graduating MBAs who are S&P CEOs, ahead of Dartmouth and the University of Michigan.
