University of Wisconsin MBA's Finish in Top 20 at Recent Thunderbird Challenge
A team of MBA students from the UW-Madison School of Business finished in the top 20 out of 143 teams from top-50 MBA programs competing in the 2003 Thunderbird Innovation Challenge.
For the competition, an innovation statement asked how a product, service, brand or business strategy could be innovated. MBA teams then brainstormed and developed a new brand, product, service, or strategy concept in answer to their assigned innovation statement. A panel of independent judges graded the teams’ presentations.
The UW-Madison School of Business team was sponsored in part by the Graduate Marketing Network. Team members were second-year students Adam Hardt and Andrea Mitchell and first-year students Sean Nobui and Bryan Vaughn.
