Parking Reservations and Locations
Because of the continual demand for parking, recruiters and company representatives are advised that a new parking policy for Lot 7 underneath Grainger Hall (Google Map) is in effect for the 2008-2009 academic year. Parking permits will still be complementary for MBA recruiters, but the process of reserving parking is slightly different.
Recruiters in need of parking for their On-Campus Recruiting at the Wisconsin School of Business are encouraged to contact Matt Nelson, Assistant Director for Wisconsin MBA Career Management, to communicate parking reservations for Lot 7. Recruiters may request one complementary permit per interview schedule, and the name of each recruiter is required at the time the reservation is made. Parking is also reserved for employers who have pre-arranged meetings and events with the MBA Career Management Center. Additional spots might be available, so please communicate your parking needs with the Career Management staff as early as possible. Pre-reserved permits are generally not needed for evening information session, as there should be ample parking available late in the day.
On the day of the visit, the recruiter can proceed directly to the parking booth in Lot 7 to pick up his or her permit. Please note that Lot 7 parking will be based on availability and you may be directed to park in a nearby alternative lot on campus. It is best to arrive early to ensure plenty of time to park and arrive at the MBA Career Management Center.
If your representative has not made an advanced reservation or if your company has additional parking needs, limited parking may be available the day of your visit at Lot 7 or the Fluno Center for Executive Education (Lot 83). If space is available, a permit may be purchased from the parking booth attendant.
The MBA Career Management Center encourages recruiters to secure lodging reservations at hotels near Grainger Hall or at the Fluno Center for Executive Education (Google Map) (2 blocks east of Grainger Hall) to take advantage of their convenient parking facilities.
If you have any questions about parking and availability, please contact Matt Nelson.
