Pushing Boundaries: Women in Business

On Friday, October 23, The Wisconsin MBA will host the Fall 2009 Women's Weekend: Pushing Boundaries.  The purpose of this event is to bring together prospective MBA students, current MBA students, alumni, faculty, and staff to discuss the issues that are currently facing Women in Business.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Registration: 8:00-9:00 - Grainger Hall, outside Executive Dining Room, 1st floor
  • Breakfast with current Graduate Women In Business students and alumni: 8:00-9:00 - Grainger Hall, Executive Dining Room, 1st Floor
  • Welcome/Keynote: 9:00-10:30 - Grainger Hall, Executive Dining Room, 1st Floor
  • Tour of Grainger: 10:30-11:00 - departs from Executive Dining Room
  • Admissions Specialization Presentation: 11:00-12:00, Grainger Hall, Room 2520
  • Lunch: 12:00-1:00, Grainger Hall, Room 2520
  • Empowering Women, Panel: 1:00-2:30, Grainger Hall, Room 4349
  • Center Forums: 2:30-3:30, Grainger Hall 3rd and 4th Floor
  • GWIB Student/Alumni Panel: 3:30-4:30, Grainger Hall, 4349
  • Cocktails/Mingle: 4:30-6:30, Grainger Hall Executive Dining Room, 1st Floor

Reserve a guest room at the Fluno Center for Thursday or Friday.

In addition to scheduled activities, prospective students will also have the opportunity to talk with current students, staff and faculty members.  Activities are not scheduled for the weekend.  We invite you to explore Madison!
