Angie Gill

Webmaster/ Interactive Art Director

Angie Gill is an accomplished senior interactive art director and usability designer with more than 14 years of experience in the planning, design, and implementation of software and website interfaces. Her emphasis is on design and optimizing the user experience.

Angie was a Sr. Interactive Art director at the Blattner-Brunner Agency in Pittsburgh, PA. where she worked on many national accounts including Glaxo-Smith-Kline, Proctor & Gamble, and most recently the Nestle Nutrition Store at the The Hiebing Group. Other local clients include Scott Cooper of The Marketing Engine Group and international author, Christopher Ransom. She has worked for several firms within the technology industry such as FORE Systems and Laurel Networks, both start-ups acquired by global companies Ericsson and ECI Telecom, and MediaSite, acquired locally by Sonic Foundry.

Prior to joining the Wisconsin School of Business, Angie was the Interactive Art Director at Famous Footwear responsible for redesigning the retail website, focusing on new feature sets and the development of a consistent paradigm for the overall site. For three years she was one of three principal co-owners of a small design firm based in Pittsburgh, PA — ImageWordSound — specializing in the tech, bio-tech, and telecommunications industries where she garnered extensive experience creating interactive pieces for sales / marketing purposes and tradeshow presentations.

Angie holds a B.A. in Graphic Design from La Roche College in Pittsburgh, PA. She is well versed in all major graphic/web design and animation software programs, including the Adobe Creative Suite of products: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Flash, and enjoys creating digital artwork in Corel Painter.
