Seville: Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE)
Fall: Early September - Mid December or Early February
Spring: Early January - Late May or Late June
Summer: Early June - Late July (Internship mid May - early July)
Undergraduate Affiliated Program
Attend business and liberal arts courses taught in Spanish with other Americans at the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) study center or with Spanish students at the Universidad de Sevilla. Visits to industries, banks, and subsidiaries of foreign firms allow you to learn about Spanish business firsthand. A limited number of unpaid internships are also available.
With the footprints of the many great cultures that have populated it, Seville and the Andalusian region are noted for being rich and diverse, historic and modern. CIEE offers cultural excursions in Seville and overnight trips in surrounding cities.
Language requirement and courses
All semester courses are taught in Spanish, thus the language requirement is 5 semesters of college-level Spanish or equivalent. The summer internship program also requires 5 semesters of college-level Spanish or equivalent, while the summer language and culture program requires no prior Spanish (although some Spanish is recommended). Business and non-business classes are available.
This list is subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control. International Programs cannot guarantee that participants will be admitted to their first choice of courses. The School of Business ONLY sponsors the Seville Business & Society Program and the Seville summer internship program.
