Grades/transcript
Once International Programs receives your transcript from abroad, we will notify you. If you have not heard from us, assume that we have not received your grades. Contact your host university to inquire about when your transcript was sent to UW.
Grade and credit conversion tables are available.
Write a final report
Your final report, which will be placed online and in the International Programs office, will greatly assist future study abroad participants. We encourage all students to submit a report and it is required of those who received scholarship money from the School of Business and its donors.
Use any style you would like in an MS Word document. You may wish to follow the final
report guidelines
or to review past reports from
your program. Please email your report to international@bus.wisc.edu
by January 15th (fall participants), July 15th (most spring
participants) or September 15th (late spring and summer participants).
Attend the international reception
You are invited! The School of Business welcomes all past study abroad participants as well as international exchange students from the School's overseas partner universities. All business students with an interest in studying abroad or international issues are welcome to attend.
This fall please join us on Wednesday, January 23, at 4:00 in the Capital Conference Room 5120 Grainger.
Volunteer to talk about your time abroad
Throughout the academic year, International Programs will host recruiting and orientation meetings for future participants. We will send out a call for volunteers about two weeks prior to the meeting. Your expertise on your overseas program is greatly appreciated, and we hope you will volunteer! This spring we need your help on Tuesday, February 12, for our big spring recruitment session and at our International Perspectives class evening, April 1, at 5:30.
Snacks provided.
Join the Buddy program
We also hope you will consider being a Buddy to an exchange student! The Buddy program helps incoming international exchange students prepare for their arrival in Madison and feel at home during their stay at UW. The basic requirements for your participation are 1) a willingness to assist an incoming student and 2) several hours during your buddy's first days in Madison to get him/her settled. A couple social events for all incoming exchange students and buddies will be held during the week before classes begin and the first weeks of class.
For more information about being a Buddy, please contact International Programs.
