Undergraduate and Graduate Exchange
With the Oslo fjord at its front door and great forest areas surrounding it, the city of Oslo is a moderately sized European capital city (population 500,000) and provides excellent opportunities for a range of outdoor activities. The Norwegian School of Management/BI (NSM/BI) is a highly regarded business school that has strong links with UW: several School of Business faculty members attended NSM/BI and many Norwegian UW graduates make Oslo home to one of the most active overseas chapters of the Wisconsin Alumni Association.
The undergraduate campus of NSM/BI is centrally located, which makes it convenient to most city landmarks and events, and a great public transportation system makes it easy to get around. The college buildings were originally built in 1860-72 by the oldest Norwegian brewery, but they were completely refurbished to house NSM/BI in 1986. The graduate campus is located in a suburb of Oslo.
A video, titled "Norwegian School of Management-BI" is available in the A/V room of the business library, 2200 Grainger Hall.
