University College Dublin
Fall: Early September - Mid December
Spring: Early January - Early June
Summer Internship: Early June - Late July
Undergraduate Affiliated Program
University College Dublin dates its origin from 1851. Today UCD has a population of 17,000 students and is situated on a beautiful campus three miles south of the city center. The Faculty of Commerce has developed into the largest business school in Ireland and among the most prestigious in Europe. Its study abroad program is unique among others sponsored by the School of Business in that its social/cultural program is specifically designed to involve Irish and international students in a series of trips around Ireland and activities in Dublin.
The summer program provides an unpaid internship at a leading Irish or multinational company or financial institution, as well as an intensive Irish History and Culture course.
Ireland offers the opportunity to experience a modern European nation with one of the world's fastest growing economies and to explore the culture of one of Europe's oldest countries. Dublin, its thriving capital, has a great tradition in the arts, literature and music.
Semester Courses
All students will attend four business courses and an Irish History and Politics course. Each class is worth 3 UW credits. Receive UW residence credits and grades.
