Applying
Applications are due March 1st of the previous academic year. If space for spring semester opens, the application process will re-open with a deadline of October 1st. Please note early deadlines for some programs. Check with International Programs. The application form for spring 2010 is available on line for printing. Please submit it to our office 3121 Grainger Hall with your transcript and program fee by the deadline.
The exception is the China Study Tour. The deadline for Summer 2010 is December 1, 2009.
You may benefit from attending a study abroad information session. One will be held in February, and another in September.
The primary selection criterion is GPA followed by (in no particular order) classification (preference given to business and pre-business majors) prior coursework, and answers to short answer questions on the application. Applicants with prior relevant, but not required, language courses are given priority. Applicants with a prior college semester abroad experience will be given last priority.
