Undergraduate Exchange
Founded in 1906, the Warsaw School of Economics is the leading business school in Poland, and is also the oldest public university of economics and management in Poland. The school has about 15,000 students altogether and a faculty of 1000. It has been ranked by the Financial Times as the best business school in all of Central and Eastern Europe. The campus is conveniently located in central Warsaw, adjacent to the city’s largest park and next to a metro station.
Warsaw is a city of dynamic development and excellent prospects. The Polish capital is a truly European city, the pride of the Polish people and a popular destination for foreigners. The Warsaw metropolitan area is home to 3 million residents, with 1.7 million living in the city itself. It is the center of Poland’s political, economic and cultural life. The city’s location in the center of Europe makes it an important communication and transportation hub. Furthermore, the city is very youthful from a demographic standpoint. One in five people is under the age of 18, and there are a total of 300,000 university students in Warsaw.

Housing
SGH offers housing in one of its campus dormitories, about a 10 minute walk from campus. Students share a moderately sized double room. Rooms include a fridge, dining table, closets, chairs, and computer tables. Each floor has two kitchens and two bathrooms. Due to limited amount of rooms, accommodation is on a “first-come first-served” basis.
SGH will also help you to find private accommodation and put you in touch with other exchange students for potential roommates if you desire. (This option will be considerably more expensive.)
